Portrait hushed

The lake of aplomb,
is knee deep for her,
where does lie her treasure?
in stones of credence,
or the gospel truth?
i knoweth not,
so i surmise not.

Her vale of troth,
needs a paliside,
but the heavens lied.
So,

Weaving a dream,
within a dream,
lives she.
but tell her,
ain't no shade,
under the pine tree.

One day,
she flew,
where?
no clue!
she had,
the heavens to bestow.
but she heard,
the cries,
with no one to dote on.

Then,
Some vultures gathered,
and her world scattered,
she had to run,
but blinding was the sun!

The vultures swooped,
her flesh they tore,
but dignity she wore.

Away,
the vultures went,
and the winter was spent.
So tell her,
Ain't no vultures around,
clear is the sky,
for her to swim,
'coz afterall, she's Sunshine!
Shine as you shine!
